Rss2Blog Review - Auto blogger
June 27, 2008 – 10:23 am | by nandakbI told myself that I can not be lazy today. I should bring into play my everyday discovery on this blog. Who knows i may burst into flame to bring down the house someday. Past 3 months I am constantly thinking about having one good auto blogger.
You know what I mean, like hiring a blogger to update my blogs regularly. So google put more credit in my seo accounts. First bought the RSS2Blog solution, for the cost of $197.00. An PHP & Mysql solution need to cron job to keep scarping engine alive. I am not a big fan of PHP, but shall you do? Most of the SEO stuffs are in PHP Mysql.
The installation was easy kudos to the help file, short and sweet. You can scrap the content from RSS feed, scarp from HTML websites or even have your text to be uploaded. Almost all the Auto blogging softwares has that feature. You have option of choosing one content source.
Upload the more than one Texts, to include in Post title. This title text will be randomly picked by RSS2Blog engine and inserted between the original title. So you have unique title for each post, normally i upload the keyword list from google keyword tool.
Given below a sample title generated by Rss2Blog. The red in color shows the injected text in original title.
Rolls royce automobile official website india
It also has the feature of adding footer text to each post. You can inject some javascripts or marketing links for your product.
You can upload links in link pod for link juice. Rss2Blog randomly pick up a link from link pod and replace any links found in the original post. There is no gurantee that link text will match with url content.
You can have list of words to be highlighted, so your content appear more readble.
There is plenty of other features too, like nofollows attributes to all the links, creating the posting from search engine result, RSS News.
Compare to BlogToRank application, scraping the RSS feeds and posting them in respective blogs lot quicker.
Issues found:
Main problem is that google never index them. Somehow it sniffs the foot print and ignore them completely. I let the Rss2Blog to post 20 days on rank 2 blog. Unfortunately it never get indexed, But if I post some unique content it has been picked up quickly.
What is the use of adding duplicate content , it should kick the google in face and get some traffic right?
From my opinion Rss2Blog doesn’t help keeping my blog alive.
