Wikia search getting better and better, Its influence in SEO community is growing. Using wikia search you can add your site link for specific keyword and vote for its relevancy. 
No need to tell that you can create as many users you want from different IP and do the needful to keep your site on top. Make sure you are not spamming it.
Well its has been a month since I posted. Also the ebuytool.com site was down for a week due to the server change done by godaddy. Perhaps I was very lazy to update tld entries of domain registry.
Well, the organic traffic is on the march, niche video site has doubled its traffic. May never been a ghost of chance without social book markings widget and yahoo answers link on the deck. Yahoo seems trusting the links posted in answer.yahoo.com. I also did few social book marking by myself using the BookMarking software tool . I used to pay 100$ for 50 social links and 100 directory postings for video site promotion, but not any more.
There is significant changes in organic traffic nowadays. Yahoo is sending more traffic than Google does. 45% of Traffic comes from yahoo and 42% from google and remaining are direct traffic. MSN live has only 10 pages indexed so not much traffic. Live may follow the yahoo foot path soon. Alexa ranking also went up from 800,000 to 380,000.

Unique visitors 150-200 visitors a day. Site stickiness 4 minutes /average. Bounce rate: 33.04%, Page Views: 15 / average.
You might thinking my commitment of scoring high on specific keywords? Unfortunately I have opened two more projects, PPC and Black hat stuff. There is plenty of money in PPC marketing. So very less time to work on the SEO to promote the video niche site.
Just wanted to give quick update on promoting the
video niche site. The site appear in first page of google for a domain related keyword “tamil video”. Don’t be sarcastic, I know it is easy to rank for domain name. Ranking for other keywords are still in progress.
The site was down for 3 days, because Youtube data API was returning zero videos in search result. Migration took almost a day to move from legacy Youtube API to Google Gdata.
Due to that fact, Google traffic went to bottom from 150 to 20 / day. Never mind, the site is recovering slowly from that disaster hopefully in a week.

Increase the traffic to 300 visitors/day. Should rank in first page for the keywords "tamil videos" "taml video" "tamil actress video" "tamil actress videos" "tamil comedy videos" "tamil movie videos"
SEO Progress made so far
I changed the home page title text and gained some links by social bookmarking and few from link directory. Changed Page Title and <h> Tags in page rendering. Now the site is ranked in second page. But many long tail keyword ranking is got dropped.
As this site is about video, Google expects following information. Links to video Download, mp3 songs download, at least two external video links related to the site niche. For example if the site is about "Tamil Video" then providing external link to "Hindi Videos" & "Malayalam Videos" has been expected.
So yesterday I have added some external links with link text "download", "tamil music", "tamil mp3" in their header and title text. I choose to put those links in my page because they are very boring, they have no content advertisement, has many government and .edu back links. I am pretty sure that visitors will bounce back to my site as soon as they click the external links.
Providing related external links to your site not only increase the user experience, figured that page rank has also increasing. The page rank can be verified here
Monetizing Niche video site
The CTR on this site went below 1%, noticed Adsense serves public ads to some of the pages in that site. Few of the pages has offending word sex in url. It also related to smart pricing, ads click by visitor type
As many recommended to remove the adsense from the site I removed adsense put "friend finder" for time being. Need to find the alternative monetization soon. Currently this site gets 100 unique visitors day and 1000 page impression. 90% of the visitors are from India. Any recommendation to adsense alternative would be more helpful.
One of my site which never get indexed by live.com surprisingly received 2 organic visitor today. Trying to figure it out how in the world it has happen. There is no new link has been acquired i could think off. But I did few changes, in the index page. I had the Site header text at the top with <h1> tag has been replaced with <strong> tag.
Other than i don’t remember doing any changes. I rolled out the changes day before yesterday and found that Live.com indexed the first page. Other pages may get indexed soon i guess. seomarketingvideos.com is the site i am talking about. In the top left corner you can see the text “Seo Videos” which was <h1> tag before. Now decorated with <strong> tag. Live seems give much important to the header tags. If there is an <h1> tag above the <h4> tag, live expect that the words in <h1> should repeat in <h4> tags too. If not then it get confused over the content u were trying to present. And drive no traffic either for <h1> or <h4> or content.
Is any one read this posting (Honestly this site get rare visitors) please share your comment on my thoughts.
It took me more than minutes to understand the irony behind Ham for Channukas promotion posted in Seth’s blog. Couldn’t control smiling after reading the relation between Jews and Ham . WOW! Only in USA we can see such promotion. Kudos to Seth and Mordechai
What strike me is , similar festival celebrated by Tamil people living in south asia (south india, srilanka, Malaysia , Singapore and few in Thailand).
They do have similar religious day called “Karthigai” (as per Tamil calendar that day comes between November and December) to commemorate the birth of light son Kumaran (also called Muruga, Subramaniya and Thandayuthapani) who born from 6 distinct lights. On the day of sixth, people visit near by Muruga Temple by walk and lit the oil light poured in small mud made pot. This festival also called Deepam pronounce (dee’ bum) Thiruvizha (pronounce thiru’ vila) means Light festival.
What is more! the symbol of Muruga is represented by hexagram / six pointed star same as Star of David.

What about fraudulent calls? The Ingenio which offer similar service on AOL networks, asserts there is no call fraud at all. They have precaution measurements which blocks the autodialer. Means fraud minds need to hire some one to dial manually. Google may do the same.
Is consumers are ready to type the number?
Ingenio Vs Click to Call link discuss how ingenio failed to convince the users to type their number so advertisers call give them the call. Later ingenio changed revenue model from Click-to-Call to Pay Per call. Could be because Ingenio Operating on AOL network. (As per my experience I never respected AOL nor their service. Guessing AOL customers may feel the same way which might have stopped them giving the number to Ingenio)

Google Click-to-Call is very bad news for the medium and small companies as they do not have enough resources to have a proper call-center to deal with all the calls. By introducing this tool Google is giving Big Companies a competitive advantage over the smalls one

For Indian marketers, Click To Call may not be the best choice. Because the VOIP is under scrutinize by BSNL and big mobile players such as reliance and TaTa. The Net2Phone, SkyPe may demise from india because they are using unauthorized bandwidth.
